January 6th, 8 – 11 am

Super Run Galactic Heroes 5K

Grab your cape and fly over to this superhero-themed 5K run where  you become a real-life superhero at Sugar Land Memorial Park, located at 15300 University Boulevard in Sugar Land. Every participant gets galactic blaster cuffs and a collectable run bib. Finishers will receive a medal. Run for fun or raise money for your favorite charity. January 7th, 9 am

Bike the Bend for Literacy: Resolution Ride for Reading

Support Fort Bend Literacy Council and enjoy a scenic bike route throughout Fort Bend. This BP MS150 recommended ride is presented by Houston Federal Credit Union and  starts at Foster High School, located
at 4400 FM 723 Road in Richmond.  Pick up your packet on ride day or

Jigsaw Puzzle Competition: Until Every Piece Fits

Make history with the first-ever  county-wide jigsaw puzzle competition at Constellation Field, located at 1 Stadium Drive in Sugar Land. This event benefits Hope For Three, a local non-profit that provides resources and financial support exclusively to families with children on the autism spectrum. Run for a Reason!

Support Fort Bend Seniors at the Chevron Houston Marathon and Aramco Half Marathon

Are you a runner or have a friend or family member who would love to
run for a great cause? Come support Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels in the upcoming 2018 Chevron Houston Marathon and Aramco Half Marathon. Donations raised through this event will continue to help seniors remain independent by enhancing their quality of life – ensuring hunger relief through proper nutrition. Race entries for both the half and full marathon are available.

10th Annual USA Fit Marathon, Fort Bend Kia Half Marathon, and Simon Spine 5K

This signature USA Fit running event  has more than 1,000 participants cross the finish line in all three races combined. Runners start and finish at the Sugar Land campus of the University of Houston, located at 14000 University Boulevard. Proceeds benefit the  Fort Bend Education Foundation. February 3rd, 8 am

The Be Incredibly Well 5K Run for Heart Health

This first annual run will take place at Oyster Creek Park, located at 4033 Highway 6 in Sugar Land. Help bring awareness to the importance of heart health in young girls and women. Run to support this worthy cause while also enjoying food trucks, vendor shopping, music and a kid zone. There will be medals for finishers and t-shirts for all registrants. Introduction to Pound®

Using lightly weighted drumsticks called Ripstix®, Pound Pro® Marinela Taylor will take participants through an exhilarating, full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning and strength training with yoga and Pilates-inspired movements to rock, hip-hop and pop music. This free class takes place at the University Branch Library, located at 14010 University Boulevard in Sugar Land and is for all fitness levels. Bring a yoga mat or towel. Valentine’s Dinner at the Museum

Join the Houston Museum of Natural Science Sugar Land, located at 13016 University Boulevard, for dinner amongst the exhibits as you and your sweetheart celebrate Valentine’s Day.  The evening includes a reception in the exhibit halls and a three-course seated meal with wine.  A special behind-the-scenes lecture will add to this memorable evening’s unique appeal. Advance ticket purchase required by February 8th.
